About me

I’ve been writing for over two decades, having been a correspondent for an urban policy magazine, the founder of an online publication focused on green spaces, and as a nonprofit professional where I wrote project proposals.

I launched Notes from Cole in December 2024, which is a rebrand of a personal blog I started in February of that year.

When I’m not writing, I manage Squarespace websites for clients. I’ve been working with some clients for over a decade.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time in nature, and taking the occasional mountain or desert drive.
